Charlotte CodeCamp

Yesterday  was the Charlotte CodeCamp, put on by the fine folks at the Enterprise Developers Guild, along with CPCC and Microsoft.

It was a great day, with lots of great content, and lots of devs arriving from all over. There was a lot of TriNUG representation - Rob Zelt, Josh Carlisle, Chris Love, and Sue Googe all came down to Charlotte to present. I think I may have been one of the only devs from Raleigh that didn't present - I guess I missed the memo.

Speaking of presentations, I caught a good one from Chris Eargle on Continuous Integration. CI is great stuff, and really brings together a lot of the good that can be found in Agile development processes.  Chris did a good job of emphasizing the ease of getting CI up and running, and managed to dip into lots of the related Agile processes along the way, without veering too far off the course of the presentation. Chris has also played a large part in resurrecting the .Net user group in Columbia, SC, so hats off to him!

It was a great day of presentations, and an excellent opportunity to recharge as a developer.  Well worth the 6 hours of driving.
